Before becoming the Founder and CEO of TheRealtorDubai Real Estate Brokerage, Nadia spent years working in aviation with Emirates. It was an experience that placed her in contact with people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds every day.
For Nadia, aviation was much more than a job. It became a training ground for understanding people.
Working as cabin crew required discipline, patience and attention to detail. It also meant knowing how to remain calm when situations became stressful and how to make people feel comfortable when they were far from home.
Those experiences gradually shaped the way Nadia approached professional relationships.
She learned that excellent service is rarely about doing something extraordinary. Often, it comes down to noticing the small things, listening carefully, communicating clearly and understanding what someone needs before they have to ask.
Years later, those same lessons would become the foundation of her career in real estate.
When Real Estate Became the Right Direction
Nadia did not originally enter Dubai real estate with the plan of building her own brokerage.
Her interest in property and investment developed gradually, while her experience in Dubai gave her a close understanding of the city and its international character. At the same time, she began seeing how confusing the property market could feel for buyers and investors who were unfamiliar with the process.
Property decisions can involve large amounts of money, complicated terminology and long term consequences. For someone entering the market for the first time, knowing which questions to ask can be just as important as knowing which property to choose.
Nadia saw an opportunity to approach the industry differently.
Instead of treating real estate as a simple sales process, she wanted to make guidance a central part of the experience. Her belief was straightforward. A client should understand what they are buying, why they are buying it and whether the decision actually fits their personal circumstances and financial goals.
That philosophy eventually led her toward entrepreneurship.
Nadia Cortés Building TheRealtorDubai With Purpose
In 2024, Nadia founded TheRealtorDubai with the intention of creating a brokerage that reflected the values she had developed throughout her career.
Starting a company from the ground up brought a completely different kind of responsibility.
As an entrepreneur, Nadia was no longer responsible only for her own performance. She had to think about the brand, the team, clients, business decisions and the direction of the company.
For her, however, the purpose remained simple.
TheRealtorDubai was created to become a place where clients could ask questions, explore their options and receive honest guidance without feeling pushed into a decision.
That approach has helped shape the identity of the company as it continues to grow in Dubai’s competitive real estate environment.
Nadia believes growth should not simply mean becoming larger. It should mean becoming more useful.
Why Service Remains at the Heart of Her Leadership
The strongest connection between Nadia’s aviation career and her life in real estate is service.
In both industries, people place a certain level of trust in the professional guiding them.
A passenger may need reassurance during an unfamiliar journey. A property buyer may need reassurance before committing a significant portion of their savings.
The situations are different, but the responsibility is similar.
Nadia believes that real estate professionals should remember the human side of every transaction. A property can represent years of work, a family’s future, a person’s savings or an important investment decision.
That is why she places importance on listening before advising.
For Nadia, a successful transaction is not simply one that reaches completion. It is one where the client feels informed, respected and comfortable with the decision they have made.
Building a Business That People Remember
One of the achievements Nadia values most is building TheRealtorDubai from the ground up.
Entrepreneurship has brought her the freedom to create a company according to her own principles, but it has also required her to accept responsibility for mistakes, difficult decisions and unexpected challenges.
For Nadia, the most meaningful measure of progress is not simply business growth.
It is the trust that develops between the company and its clients.
When a client returns for another transaction, recommends the business to someone they know or simply says they felt properly looked after, Nadia sees that as a sign that the original vision is working.
Those moments matter because they represent something deeper than a completed deal.
They show that service can become part of a company’s reputation.
Learning That Reputation Is Built Quietly
Nadia’s experience has also taught her that reputation is not created through one impressive moment.
It is built through consistency.
Showing up when promised. Following through on commitments. Listening properly. Communicating honestly. Taking responsibility when something goes wrong.
These actions may not always be visible, but they can determine how people remember a professional or a business.
That lesson has followed Nadia from aviation into real estate and now into entrepreneurship.
In an industry where competition can be intense and clients have many choices, she believes the way people are treated can become one of the strongest differentiators.
For her, integrity is not a marketing message. It is something that has to be demonstrated repeatedly.
A Bigger Vision for TheRealtorDubai
Looking ahead, Nadia wants to expand TheRealtorDubai while protecting the service culture that shaped its foundation.
Her vision includes building the right team, strengthening client support and creating useful educational content that helps people better understand Dubai’s property market.
Education is particularly important to her because she believes informed clients are better positioned to make confident decisions.
Rather than simply encouraging people to buy, Nadia wants the company to help them understand the wider picture.
That means asking whether a property suits their needs, whether an investment makes sense and whether they are comfortable with the risks and responsibilities involved.
Her long term ambition is for TheRealtorDubai to become more than a company people approach when they want to buy, sell or rent.
She wants it to become a trusted source of real estate guidance.
A Journey That Continues to Evolve
Nadia’s story is ultimately about changing direction without losing sight of what matters.
Aviation, real estate and entrepreneurship may appear to be completely different careers, but for Nadia they share one important connection: people.
Each stage of her professional journey taught her something that became useful in the next.
Aviation taught her discipline and service. Real estate taught her the importance of knowledge, trust and responsibility. Entrepreneurship has challenged her to turn those values into a company and a culture.
Her journey also carries a message for people who may feel uncertain about their own direction.
A career does not always have to follow a straight line. Sometimes a new opportunity appears because previous experiences have prepared you for it.
Nadia’s story shows that changing industries does not mean starting from zero. The skills, lessons and relationships built along the way can become the foundation for something completely new.
Building Success With a Purpose
For Nadia, ambition matters, but purpose gives ambition greater meaning.
Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that people should leave others better than they found them. In business, that can mean providing useful knowledge. In leadership, it can mean creating opportunities for others. In client service, it can simply mean helping someone navigate an important decision with greater confidence.
That mindset continues to shape her work at TheRealtorDubai.
As the company moves forward, Nadia’s goal is not only to build a successful brokerage. It is to build a business that reflects the person behind it.
A business where service is not an afterthought, trust is earned through consistency and clients are treated as people rather than transactions.
For Nadia, that is what makes the journey worthwhile.
