Jodie Di Renzo’s career in beauty has never followed just one path. Jodie’s professional journey began with three years of focused study at one of South Africa’s respected beauty colleges.
Her training covered skincare, beauty therapy, wellness and professional treatments, giving her a broad understanding of an industry that is often more technical than it appears from the outside.
Studying theory was only one part of the experience. While completing her qualification, Jodie also worked in the college salon and spa. This gave her something a classroom alone could not provide: regular contact with real clients.

After completing her studies, Jodie made a major career move and began working aboard cruise ships.
The experience took her beyond South Africa and introduced her to clients from different cultures and expectations.

When her cruise ship contract ended, Jodie returned to South Africa and took another courageous step. She opened her own small salon.

Even after gaining experience abroad and running her own salon, Jodie did not feel that she had finished learning.
She wanted to move deeper into advanced beauty and aesthetics, an area where treatments, technologies and professional techniques continue to evolve.
That desire eventually brought her to Dubai.
Moving countries meant beginning another chapter from a new position. She had experience, but she still needed to adjust to a different market, workplace culture and client base.
At her first job in Dubai, Jodie was recognised as Spa Employee of the Month several times.
The achievement was meaningful because it confirmed something that had followed her throughout her career. Even in a new environment, she could earn recognition through consistency, service and the willingness to learn.
Learning Became Part of Her Professional Identity
Jodie sees continuous education as essential rather than optional.
The aesthetics and beauty industry changes quickly. New treatments appear, technology develops and clients become more informed about what they want.
For Jodie, staying relevant means continuing to ask questions.
