A Life Shaped by Different Cultures
For Camila Luz, the world was never something distant or unfamiliar. It was part of everyday life from an early age. Growing up with a diplomat father and an artist mother meant that countries, cultures, languages and different ways of thinking naturally became part of her upbringing.
That environment shaped the way Camila looks at people and the world around her. Instead of seeing differences as barriers, she learned to see them as opportunities to understand something new.
Today, she describes herself as a Brazilian Italian global strategist, writer, creative director and entrepreneur. But her professional titles only tell part of the story. At the heart of her journey is a deep curiosity about people, places, stories and the connections that bring them together.
Having lived in 10 countries and travelled to more than 60, Camila has built a life that reflects her belief that there is rarely only one way to live, work or succeed.
From International Business to Creative Strategy
Camila began her professional journey in international business and marketing, where she developed an interest in how companies grow across different markets. Yet she soon discovered that her curiosity went beyond traditional business strategy.
She wanted to understand why people connect with certain brands, ideas and stories.
That question became an important part of her career. Over more than 17 years, she has worked across international marketing, brand strategy, business expansion and creative direction. Her experience has taken her through industries and environments connected to technology, international business, hospitality, art and creative ventures.
Rather than following one predictable career path, Camila moved toward opportunities that allowed her to learn.
Every new country and professional chapter required her to adapt. Sometimes that meant entering an unfamiliar culture. At other times, it meant approaching a completely different industry.
Instead of viewing those changes as interruptions, she gradually understood that they were building a much bigger picture.
Camila Luz Learning to Reinvent Herself
One of the most important lessons Camila has taken from her journey is that reinvention is not a sign of failure.
It can be a sign of growth.
Her career has moved between international business, technology, corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, strategy, writing and art. On paper, those chapters may appear different. For Camila, however, they are connected by the same desire to explore ideas and create meaningful work.
She believes people can be successful at something that no longer feels right for them. That realization changed the way she defines ambition.
For years, she associated resilience with continuing regardless of circumstances. With time, she discovered that resilience can also mean knowing when to pause, change direction and begin again.
As Camila puts it, “Ambition without self awareness can become a very sophisticated form of exhaustion.”
That perspective has become increasingly important as she enters a new phase of her life.
The Beginning of Trilance
One of the most significant chapters in Camila’s entrepreneurial journey began in Jordan in 2018.
It was there that the foundations of Trilance started to take shape. The global creative and strategy venture reflects many of the ideas that have influenced Camila throughout her career.
Trilance is built around the belief that strong brands do not have to fit into a single box. The same can be said about people.
For Camila, creativity and strategy are not separate worlds. They can work together to help businesses understand their identity, communicate more effectively and connect with audiences across different cultures.
Her international experience gives her a particularly broad perspective on this process. Having worked across multiple markets, she understands that an idea that succeeds in one environment may need to be approached differently somewhere else.
That ability to look beyond one market is one of the strengths she brings to her work.
Writing About Women and Leadership
Camila’s creative interests also extend into writing. She is the author of Female Leadership Without Borders, a book that reflects her belief that women should be able to pursue ambitious careers without sacrificing their individuality.
The idea is closely connected to her own experience.
Camila has crossed countries, industries and professional identities while continuing to shape her own definition of success. Her story challenges the idea that women need to select one identity and remain inside it.
Leadership, in her view, can exist alongside creativity, personal freedom, culture, relationships and a desire for a meaningful life.
Her work also reflects a wider belief that women should be able to build global careers without feeling pressured to abandon who they are in order to succeed.
Success Is Becoming More Intentional
Today, Camila is less interested in simply doing more.
Earlier in her career, success could look like more projects, more clients, more countries, more travel and more responsibility. After experiencing so many different chapters, her priorities have evolved.
She is now focused on alignment.
That means continuing to develop international businesses and creative projects through Trilance while creating more space for writing, art, culture and meaningful collaborations.
It also means becoming more selective about where she places her energy.
For Camila, the next chapter is not about becoming busier. It is about making better choices and creating work that feels connected to the person she wants to become.
Finding Home Beyond a Place
Perhaps one of the most personal ideas in Camila’s story is her understanding of home.
After living in 10 countries and travelling extensively, she does not define home simply as a country, city or physical address.
She describes home as something that can be created through a person, a feeling, a creative practice or a meaningful conversation.
This idea has particular relevance to her life because she has spent so much of it crossing borders.
Instead of searching for one permanent place where she belongs, Camila has learned to create a sense of belonging wherever she is.
Her philosophy can be summed up in one simple thought: “Build a life you don’t need to escape from.”
It is an approach that connects her professional ambitions with her personal values.
A New Chapter Built Around Purpose
Camila’s greatest achievement may not be a particular job, country, project or title. It is her ability to keep reinventing herself without losing her sense of identity.
Each new environment has taught her something. Each professional shift has added another layer to her understanding of people, creativity and business.
Her current focus is therefore less about proving what she can do and more about deciding what deserves her attention.
She wants to continue building globally while making more room for creativity, relationships, culture and purposeful collaborations.
That balance may be the most meaningful evolution in her journey.
Camila also wants to encourage others to challenge the identities they have been given. She believes people should be free to change careers, move countries, start again and pursue ambition while still wanting a peaceful and fulfilling life.
Her message is simple. Do not be afraid to outgrow the version of yourself that other people already understand.
For someone who has spent years moving between cultures and professional worlds, crossing borders has become more than a lifestyle. It has become a way of thinking.
And as Camila Luz enters her next chapter, she is showing that the most interesting career may not be the one that follows a straight line. It may be the one that keeps evolving with curiosity, courage and purpose.
