Born into one of Egypt’s well-known artistic families, Malak grew up surrounded by cinema, theatre, music and performance. But her own journey has developed through years of personal exploration, professional experiences and a growing desire to understand the many sides of her creativity.
Today, she is building a career across acting, modeling and content creation, while continuing to explore music and other forms of artistic expression. Her experience already includes television appearances, advertisements, fashion shows, short films, musical theatre, brand ambassadorships and collaborations with established names across fashion and beauty.
For Malak, creativity is not limited to one profession. It is a way of expressing different parts of who she is.
Building Experience From a Young Age
Malak began exploring performance at an early age through school theatre, drama, music and creative workshops.
She studied IGCSE Drama and participated in productions including Oliver Twist. She also took the lead in a school production titled Scrumdiddlyumptious, inspired by the worlds of Roald Dahl and bringing together stories such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The BFG and James and the Giant Peach.
These early experiences gave her an understanding of performance that went beyond simply being in front of an audience. They introduced her to characters, storytelling, stage presence and the collaborative nature of production.
She also explored music from a young age, studying vocals, drums, piano and flute. Drums became her main instrument, and music has remained an important part of her creative identity.
Today, she is continuing to develop that side of herself, spending time in studios, learning from experienced musicians and preparing to return to formal vocal training and drums.
For Malak, music is not simply another career ambition. It is something she has wanted to pursue for much of her life.
From Modeling to Major Brand Campaigns

Malak began building professional experience in modeling and commercial work at a young age.
Her portfolio has grown across fashion, beauty, advertising, television and digital media, giving her experience both in front of the camera and within professional production environments.
Her work has included campaigns and shoots connected with names such as Versace Jeans, Coca-Cola, Tally Weijl, Emaar Misr, Sony, Espresso Lab, Egypt Gold, Splash and numerous Egyptian fashion and beauty brands.
She has also worked across advertisements, photoshoots, videos, runway projects and social media campaigns, developing an understanding of how different types of productions operate.
Her experience includes appearances connected with Cairo Fashion Festival, live window shows, runway and fashion projects, as well as a variety of commercial and creative productions.
She has also represented brands as an ambassador, with her portfolio including Mazaya, Parfois, Etam, Tally Weijl, Bath & Body Works, Parallel, H&M and American Eagle.
These experiences have allowed Malak to work across very different creative environments while developing her confidence, adaptability and understanding of the industry.
Growing Comfortable in Front of the Camera
Malak’s experience is not limited to modeling.
She has also appeared on television in smaller roles and has gained familiarity with the atmosphere of professional sets from a young age.
While those early appearances were relatively small, they gave her an understanding of how productions work and what it means to perform within a larger team.
She has since continued moving toward acting, including appearing in the short film Where’d She Go and working on additional film projects.
Her interest in acting has also encouraged her to invest in character development and understanding human behaviour.
For Malak, the goal is not simply to appear on screen. She wants to understand the characters she plays and develop the ability to communicate emotions in a meaningful way.
Acting, Storytelling and the Next Chapter
Acting is now becoming one of the most important directions in Malak’s creative career.
Her previous experience in theatre, television, short films, modeling and content creation has given her exposure to different sides of performance.
She is currently focused on developing her acting skills further and working toward projects that allow her to grow creatively.
At the same time, she is working on several new projects and continuing to explore opportunities in film and entertainment.
Her ambitions extend beyond simply becoming recognizable. She wants to build a body of work that reflects her range and allows audiences to see different dimensions of her personality.
A Creative Life That Includes Music
Acting and modeling are only part of Malak’s creative world.
Music has remained a long-standing passion. As a child, she explored several instruments and vocal training, with drums eventually becoming her main instrument.
Over the past year, she has been spending time around recording studios and learning from experienced musicians, gradually becoming more familiar with the process behind music creation.
She plans to begin vocal lessons while returning to drums, with the long-term goal of eventually creating and performing music herself.
It is another example of Malak’s approach to creativity: rather than limiting herself to one discipline, she continues to explore the areas that genuinely interest her.
The Person Behind the Public Image
Away from cameras, fashion and entertainment, Malak’s personality is strongly connected to compassion and caring for others.
Animals have always been an important part of her life. Her family has had pets since she was a baby, and she continues to care for stray animals around her.
One of the most meaningful relationships in her life began in April 2019, when she rescued a stray cat she named Lucky.
The experience became deeply personal for Malak. During a particularly difficult period in her life, caring for Lucky gave her a renewed sense of purpose and became an important part of her healing journey.
Today, Lucky remains an important part of her life.
Her love for animals extends beyond her own pets. Her family regularly feeds around 18 cats that come to their home, and Malak also makes an effort to help stray animals she encounters.
For her, caring for animals is not a trend or a public image. It is something she grew up with and continues to practise privately.
Giving Back Is Part of Who She Is

Malak’s compassion also extends to people in need.
Every several months, she collects bags of clothes to donate to people who need them. During Ramadan, she volunteers to help provide food to those in need, and when she comes across individuals or communities requiring support, she tries to contribute in whatever way she can.
Her support has included helping with donations, food, blankets and other necessities depending on what is needed.
Her approach to giving was influenced strongly by her mother, who taught her from a young age to care for people who are struggling and to treat animals with kindness.
This part of Malak’s life rarely appears in photographs or social media campaigns, but it represents an important part of who she is away from her professional identity.
More Than a Model or Actress
What makes Malak’s journey distinctive is the range of experiences she is bringing into her future.
She understands fashion through modeling and runway work. She understands commercial production through years of advertisements and brand campaigns. She has experienced television and film sets, explored theatre and continues to develop her skills in acting.
At the same time, she is developing her relationship with music and using content creation as another way to communicate with an audience.
Rather than choosing one identity, Malak is allowing these experiences to inform one another.
Her modeling experience can support her understanding of visual storytelling. Her theatre background can inform her acting. Her content creation experience can help her communicate directly with audiences. And her interest in music opens another creative space she hopes to explore.
Looking Toward the Future
Malak’s next chapter is centred on growth.
She wants to continue developing as an actress, take on meaningful film and television opportunities, and work on projects that challenge her creatively.
She also hopes to pursue music more seriously, beginning with vocal training and returning to the drums before eventually creating something of her own.
Her work in modeling and content creation will continue to be part of that journey, but her ambitions are becoming broader.
She wants to create, perform, learn and experience different forms of storytelling rather than being defined by a single title.
At the same time, she wants to remain connected to the values that have always mattered to her: kindness, loyalty, compassion and authenticity.
Malak’s story is therefore not simply about where she comes from. It is about what she is doing with the opportunities, experiences and passions that have shaped her.
She has already built a diverse portfolio across fashion, beauty, advertising, television, theatre and film. She has represented international and regional brands, appeared in campaigns and productions, developed an audience through content creation and continued investing in her artistic education.
Now, she is preparing to take those experiences into a new phase focused increasingly on acting, storytelling and music.
Perhaps the most honest way to understand Malak Awad is not through one profession or one family name, but through the collection of things she genuinely cares about.
She is an artist who wants to act.
A creative who wants to make music.
A performer who continues to learn.
An animal lover who rescues and cares for strays.
And a young woman who believes that success means little if it comes at the cost of losing the heart that brought you there.
Her next chapter is still being written, but the direction is becoming clear: more acting, more creativity, more music, more meaningful projects — and, above all, more of Malak herself.
