Known today as a Master Life Coach, author, MC, television host and media personality, Mais has built a career that crosses several worlds. She is also the voice associated with ET Bil Arabi, the founder of Disconnect DXB and a familiar digital presence followed by around 570,000 people on Instagram.
Yet the most interesting part of her story is not the number of roles she holds. It is how each chapter appears connected to a larger search for purpose, personal freedom and human connection.
A Career Built Through Reinvention
Mais Mohammed was born and raised in the UAE, but coaching and television were not where her professional journey began.
Before building her name in personal development and media, Mais worked in interior design. She managed her own company, Design Serenity, and developed a career in a field built around creativity, spaces and understanding what people wanted from their surroundings.
Over time, however, another interest became harder to ignore. Mais was increasingly drawn toward human behaviour, emotions, personal transformation and the reasons people sometimes remain trapped in patterns that no longer serve them.
That curiosity eventually became a new professional direction.
Rather than remaining in a successful path simply because it was familiar, Mais chose reinvention. It was an important shift that would later define much of her public message. Growth, in her world, does not always mean adding more to an existing life. Sometimes it means having enough self awareness to recognise when a completely different path is calling.
From Designing Spaces to Transforming Mindsets
Life coaching allowed Mais to move from changing physical environments to helping people examine their internal ones.
Her approach to personal development has often centred on self awareness, emotional freedom, mindset and the way people interpret what happens around them. Instead of presenting personal growth as a collection of motivational statements, she has focused on helping people understand their own thinking patterns.
One idea has remained particularly close to her philosophy.
“Knowing yourself is the only knowing required for miracles to happen.”
That message captures much of what Mais has built her coaching identity around. Before people can change their careers, relationships or daily habits, they often need to understand why they think, react and behave in certain ways.
For Mais, lasting change appears to begin there.
Personal Struggles Added New Meaning to Her Message
Behind the public appearances and polished media career, Mais has also experienced challenges that brought a more personal dimension to her work.
She has previously spoken publicly about her experience with breast cancer and the importance of regular health checks. Facing a serious diagnosis can change the way someone thinks about time, priorities and the meaning of everyday life. In Mais’s case, that chapter became part of a wider story about awareness, resilience and living more consciously.
It also helps explain why many of the themes she speaks about today go beyond professional success.
Her conversations increasingly explore boundaries, emotional energy, inner peace and the importance of not allowing external expectations to control personal wellbeing.
Rather than presenting strength as simply pushing through everything, her message has developed toward a more balanced understanding of resilience. Sometimes strength is continuing. At other times, it is knowing when to stop, protect your energy or choose yourself.
Media Gave Mais a Bigger Stage
As Mais moved further into television, hosting and public speaking, her ability to communicate became another major part of her identity.
Media gave her something coaching sessions could not always provide at the same scale. It offered access to larger audiences and allowed conversations about self development, relationships and emotional awareness to reach people who might never actively seek a coach.
Her work as a television host, MC and voice personality also showed another side of her professional character. Coaching is often about listening carefully, while television requires confidence, timing and the ability to communicate clearly. Mais gradually brought both skills together.
She has also appeared in conversations exploring topics such as social media and relationships, personal boundaries, emotional wellbeing and the power of finding one’s own voice.
That combination has helped her build a public identity that feels broader than a traditional media career.
Disconnect DXB Reflects Her Changing Vision
One of the clearest examples of how Mais’s work has evolved is Disconnect DXB.
The idea reflects a modern contradiction. People have never had more ways to communicate, yet many still feel emotionally distant, distracted or overwhelmed by constant digital connection.
Disconnect DXB places greater attention on presence, real conversations, wellness and experiences that encourage people to temporarily step away from digital noise.
For Mais, this idea fits naturally with her coaching philosophy.
Personal growth becomes difficult when every quiet moment is filled with notifications, comparison or pressure to remain constantly available. Creating time to disconnect can therefore become a way of reconnecting with yourself.
The project also shows how Mais has moved beyond simply speaking about wellbeing. She is increasingly interested in creating experiences and platforms that allow people to practise it.
The Game of Expectations Opens Another Chapter
In February 2026, Mais expanded her work into authorship with The Game of Expectations.
The book focuses on a problem that almost everyone experiences. Much of human frustration does not come only from what happens, but from the gap between reality and what people believed should have happened.
Expectations can affect relationships, careers, family life and personal happiness. When reality does not follow the imagined plan, disappointment can quickly turn into stress, frustration or overthinking.
Through the book, Mais explores ways of recognising these mental patterns and responding more consciously.
The subject feels closely connected to her broader career. Whether she is coaching, hosting, speaking or creating wellness experiences, much of her work returns to the same idea. People cannot always control what happens around them, but they can become more aware of how they respond to it.
Travel Continues to Shape Her Perspective
Away from coaching rooms, studios and stages, travel remains another visible part of Mais’s lifestyle.
Her interest in exploring different places is more than a visual element of her online presence. Travel naturally exposes people to different cultures, behaviours and ways of thinking. For someone whose career depends heavily on understanding people, those experiences can offer another form of learning.
It also brings balance to a professional life built around conversations, audiences and constant communication.
Her public presence therefore combines personal development with moments of travel, lifestyle and everyday experience, making her content feel less like formal coaching and more like an ongoing conversation about how to live with greater awareness.
Mais Mohammed Is Building Influence With Purpose
The next stage of Mais’s journey appears less focused on collecting titles and more focused on connecting everything she has learned.
Interior design taught her about transformation. Coaching gave her tools to understand human behaviour. Media gave her a voice. Personal challenges added perspective. Travel widened her worldview. Disconnect DXB turned her philosophy into an experience, while authorship gave her ideas a life beyond social media.
Together, those chapters show why Mais Mohammed’s story is ultimately about reinvention.
Her career suggests that a person does not have to remain defined by the first profession they choose or even by the challenges they face along the way. A new direction can begin when someone becomes willing to listen more carefully to themselves.
For an audience constantly surrounded by noise, expectations and comparison, that may be the message that gives Mais’s work its strongest relevance today.
Success may attract attention, but meaningful influence begins when that attention helps someone understand themselves a little better.
