Born and raised in Dubai, Imran’s story is deeply connected to the city he now helps international entrepreneurs call their business home. Having witnessed the UAE’s transformation into a global business and investment destination, he brings a perspective shaped not only by professional experience but also by a lifetime of understanding the country, its culture, and its entrepreneurial environment.
With more than 18 years of professional experience in the UAE, including 12 years in business setup and nearly seven years with Barclays and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), Imran combines industry knowledge with practical insight into the challenges entrepreneurs face.
For Imran, establishing XILLION Group UAE was more than launching another consultancy. It was about turning years of personal and professional experience into a business built around transparency, genuine relationships, and the belief that lasting success begins with trust—not simply a trade licence.
FROM BANKING TO BUSINESS FORMATION
Imran began his UAE career with Barclays in 2007, working with business customers and developing an understanding of corporate banking requirements.
In 2014, he moved to Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), continuing to work with business and corporate clients.
These experiences provided him with practical knowledge of financial procedures, corporate documentation, customer relationships, and the banking requirements entrepreneurs encounter when establishing and operating companies.
His transition into the business setup industry expanded that understanding.
Working across sales and operations, Imran saw how entrepreneurs could struggle with decisions involving mainland and free zone structures, licences, residency arrangements, government approvals, and corporate banking.
He recognized that many founders needed more than someone who could process paperwork. They needed clear explanations and practical guidance before making important decisions.
That realization eventually became part of the foundation for XILLION Group UAE.
CONNECTING ENTREPRENEURS WITH OPPORTUNITIES ACROSS ALL SEVEN EMIRATES
One of XILLION Group UAE’s key strengths is its ability to assist entrepreneurs in exploring company formation opportunities across all seven emirates of the UAE.
From Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain, the consultancy helps businesses evaluate mainland and free zone options based on their individual commercial requirements.
Its network includes jurisdictions such as Dubai World Trade Centre, Sharjah Publishing City, International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), Meydan Free Zone, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), Ajman Free Zone, and other established licensing authorities.
Rather than limiting clients to one jurisdiction, XILLION aims to identify suitable options for startups, SMEs, established corporations, industrial businesses, and international investors.
The process can involve considering business activities, licensing requirements, office needs, visa eligibility, banking preparation, government approvals, and long-term expansion plans.
For Imran, the objective is not simply to recommend the lowest-priced licence. It is to help entrepreneurs consider a business structure that supports their broader goals.
BUILDING A BUSINESS AROUND TRANSPARENCY
In an industry involving significant financial and operational decisions, Imran believes transparency is essential.
His philosophy is straightforward:
“Be honest, be clear, and let trust do the selling.”
The principle reflects the way he wants XILLION Group UAE to build relationships with clients.
Rather than relying on exaggerated promises, the consultancy focuses on providing realistic information about costs, documentation, approval requirements, and expected processes.
Imran believes that customer confidence develops when entrepreneurs understand what they are paying for, what requirements they need to meet, and what challenges may arise.
For him, long-term relationships, repeat business, and professional referrals are more valuable than short-term transactions.
SUPPORTING ENTREPRENEURS THROUGH EXPERIENCE
Throughout his professional career, Imran has worked with entrepreneurs, investors, and business owners navigating different stages of company formation and corporate development.
He reports having supported more than 300 companies during his career.
Behind every business enquiry, however, is an individual ambition.
Some entrepreneurs may be entering the UAE for the first time. Others may already operate businesses and be looking for expansion opportunities. Some require guidance on licensing, while others need assistance understanding banking procedures, visas, or government documentation.
Imran believes understanding those individual needs is more important than simply counting the number of companies served.
His experience across banking and business formation allows him to approach company setup from a broader perspective—one that considers not only how a company is established, but also how its structure may support future operations.
MAKING CORPORATE BANKING PART OF THE BUSINESS PLAN
Corporate banking remains an important part of Imran’s approach.
Many entrepreneurs assume that receiving a trade licence automatically makes opening a corporate bank account straightforward. In reality, financial institutions have their own documentation, compliance, due-diligence, and approval requirements.
Drawing on his previous experience with Barclays and ADCB, Imran encourages entrepreneurs to consider banking requirements when planning their company structure.
Preparation can help founders organize documentation and better understand potential banking considerations.
For XILLION, this means looking beyond licence issuance and helping clients think about the practical requirements of operating a business after incorporation.
SUPPORTING VIRTUAL ASSET AND CRYPTO-RELATED BUSINESSES

As the UAE continues developing its digital-asset ecosystem, XILLION Group UAE also assists entrepreneurs and investors in understanding company formation requirements for virtual asset and cryptocurrency-related businesses.
In Dubai, certain virtual-asset activities fall under the regulatory framework of the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). Businesses conducting regulated activities must obtain the applicable regulatory authorizations before commencing those activities.
XILLION helps clients assess potential licensing jurisdictions, understand preliminary regulatory requirements, and coordinate with relevant authorities and qualified specialists where appropriate.
Regulatory approvals remain subject to assessment and approval by the competent authorities.
This approach reflects Imran’s broader philosophy: entrepreneurs should understand the regulatory environment surrounding their business before moving forward.
EXPANDING BEYOND THE UAE
While the UAE remains at the heart of XILLION Group’s operations, Imran’s vision also extends to Saudi Arabia.
As businesses increasingly explore opportunities across the Gulf, entrepreneurs need to understand that different jurisdictions involve different licensing, regulatory, administrative, and operational requirements.
XILLION aims to support businesses considering expansion into both markets while developing a professional network involving lawyers, accountants, business advisers, and other specialists.
For Imran, collaboration is an important part of creating long-term value for clients.
A FUTURE BUILT ON REPUTATION
Looking ahead, Imran wants XILLION Group UAE to become a trusted name for entrepreneurs considering business formation and expansion in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
His ambition is not simply to increase the number of companies served. It is to build a reputation for dependable guidance, clear communication, and professional accountability.
From his early banking career in 2007 to establishing XILLION Group UAE in 2026, Imran’s journey demonstrates how professional experience can become the foundation for entrepreneurship.
Born and raised in Dubai, he now uses his understanding of the UAE’s business environment to help entrepreneurs navigate the same market he has watched evolve for decades.
His story reflects a simple principle: successful business formation is not only about obtaining a licence. It is about making informed decisions, preparing for the journey ahead, and building relationships based on trust.
For Imran Mirza and XILLION Group UAE, that journey is built around three clear ideas:
