Turned Reinvention Into Real Estate Success

For Nataliia Antonchenko, known professionally as Nataly Cyprus, real estate is about much more than finding an attractive property and completing a sale. It has become a way to connect people with opportunities, build long-term investment strategies and create something meaningful from a journey that began during one of the most difficult periods of her life.

Today, Nataly works as an International Real Estate Advisor in Cyprus, supporting international clients who are exploring Mediterranean property opportunities. Her ambition, however, reaches far beyond individual transactions. She is working toward building an international real estate business that can help clients diversify their property portfolios across countries according to their personal goals.

Behind that professional vision is a deeply personal story of rebuilding, independence and transformation.

Starting Again During a Difficult Chapter

Nataly did not enter real estate through a carefully planned career move.

After relocating to Cyprus and experiencing a divorce, she found herself beginning a new chapter while raising her two children. Much of what had previously felt certain had changed, and rebuilding her life required both courage and patience.

Instead of allowing that period to define her negatively, Nataly gradually began creating a different future.

Real estate became part of that process.

As she entered the industry and started working with international clients, she discovered that property connected several areas she already understood well, including business, marketing, communication and human behaviour.

It also gave her something more personal.

Real estate offered a sense of independence and direction at a moment when both mattered deeply.

What began as a career opportunity eventually became part of the way Nataly rebuilt her confidence and created a new professional identity.

Bringing Economics and Marketing Into Real Estate

Nataly’s approach to property is also shaped by an academic and business background that extends beyond real estate.

She holds a PhD in Economics and has previously taught Marketing. She also brings more than 12 years of experience across marketing and business.

That background influences the way she looks at property today.

Rather than seeing a home only through its architecture, location or lifestyle appeal, Nataly considers the wider investment picture. This can include the purpose behind a purchase, potential rental demand, portfolio diversification and the role a property may play within someone’s longer term plans.

Her experience in marketing has also helped her understand the importance of positioning a destination correctly for international audiences.

For Nataly, selling a location is not simply about presenting beautiful photographs. It requires understanding why people invest, what concerns they have and what type of opportunity fits their personal circumstances.

Nataliia Antonchenko Moving Beyond Traditional Property Sales

Nataly’s current goal is to develop from a property focused real estate professional into an international advisor capable of helping clients build diversified portfolios.

Her work increasingly reflects that direction.

She works with international buyers and has been involved in investment focused events in London while promoting Cyprus property opportunities to overseas audiences.

Instead of viewing a successful deal as the end of the relationship, Nataly wants advisory work to begin with understanding the client.

Some buyers may be searching for a Mediterranean home. Others may be interested in rental income, diversification or a long term property asset.

Those different motivations require different strategies.

Her philosophy can be summed up in a simple idea.

Real estate should fit the person rather than asking the person to fit the property.

That principle is becoming increasingly important as Nataly works with international clients whose financial goals, lifestyles and future plans may be very different from one another.

Putting Cyprus on the International Investment Map

Cyprus sits at the centre of Nataly’s current professional journey.

She believes the Mediterranean lifestyle, international appeal and variety of property opportunities can make the island relevant to buyers looking beyond their domestic markets.

Nataly’s role is increasingly focused on introducing these opportunities to international audiences, particularly clients connected with the UK and European markets.

But her long term ambitions are broader than promoting one destination.

She wants to build a business capable of identifying opportunities across different countries and helping clients create property portfolios that are not dependent on a single location.

That would represent an important transition from property sales into international real estate advisory.

Why Relationships Matter More Than One Transaction

Despite the investment focus of her work, Nataly places considerable importance on the human side of real estate.

Property decisions can involve someone’s savings, family plans, future home or investment strategy. For that reason, she believes trust should come before pressure.

Her personal philosophy is centred around love, gratitude and the way people treat one another.

Love is the answer. When you build with genuine care for people, the work becomes more meaningful and the results can reach far beyond one transaction, Nataly says.

It may sound unusual in an industry often associated with numbers and negotiations, but for Nataly the idea has practical meaning.

It means treating relationships seriously, respecting clients and creating professional partnerships in which people can grow together.

A Bigger Vision for International Real Estate

Nataly does not see her future ending with the title of International Real Estate Advisor.

Her longer term vision includes leading an international agency supported by a global team.

She wants the business to move progressively from individual property transactions toward larger investment deals and real estate projects.

Eventually, Nataly hopes to step into property development herself.

Becoming a developer would allow her to move from advising people on existing opportunities to creating projects built around her own values and vision.

She is particularly interested in the idea of responsible development that respects both people and the natural environment.

For Nataly, growth should create value for more than one person. Clients, partners, team members and communities should all have the opportunity to benefit from what is being built.

Motherhood Remains Her Most Important Achievement

Even with a PhD, years of business experience and growing international ambitions, Nataly does not describe her biggest achievement through a professional title.

She points instead to motherhood and the experience of rebuilding her life while raising two children.

That journey changed how she understands success.

Professional growth matters, but so do resilience, gratitude, forgiveness and the ability to continue moving forward when circumstances change unexpectedly.

Her career in real estate grew from that transformation.

The woman who once had to rebuild her life almost from the beginning is now working toward building an international real estate platform with ambitions extending across markets and eventually into development.

Nataly’s story therefore goes beyond property.

It is about what can happen when a difficult beginning becomes the foundation for a new direction.

For her, the next chapter is not simply about selling more homes. It is about building relationships, creating international opportunities and developing a real estate legacy where success is shared with the people who become part of the journey.
