The New Era of Breast Aesthetics
Precision. Method. Regeneration. A vision designed for the future.
For Dr Elisa Bolletta, Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon, the future of breast aesthetics lies not simply in surgery, but in a deeper understanding of the patient, the anatomy and the biology of tissues. Her approach is grounded in a precise surgical philosophy: to understand before transforming, to measure before deciding, to prepare tissues before operating, and to consider healing, regeneration and long-term tissue quality as integral parts of the result.
This philosophy has shaped a professional journey that began in Italy and developed through scientific research, international surgical training and extensive experience in breast surgery, progressively defining a precise and highly personalized approach to aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
Today, as Medical Director and Co-Founder of Elisà Plastic Surgery, Dr Bolletta brings these elements together within a model of care where surgical precision, personalization, tissue quality and regenerative medicine are considered part of one continuous patient journey.
Rooted in the Dolomites of Northern Italy and shaped by experience across different medical and surgical environments, her vision is increasingly international. With a growing presence and developing relationships within the Gulf, Dr Bolletta is extending an approach to breast surgery that places anatomical understanding, measurable planning, natural proportions and long-term quality at the centre of contemporary plastic surgery.
A Journey That Found Its Focus in the Breast
Dr Elisa Bolletta’s relationship with medicine began with curiosity, a desire not only to learn how procedures were performed, but to understand the science behind them, study outcomes and make surgical decisions increasingly precise.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery in Italy and specializing in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, she continued to deepen her expertise with a Master’s degree in Breast Surgery, followed by advanced training and professional experiences in prestigious institutions across Europe, Canada and South Korea.
Over time, aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery became the defining focus of her professional identity. For Dr Bolletta, the breast represents a unique intersection of anatomy, proportion, femininity and identity.
As a woman caring for women, she believes in being part of each patient’s journey with empathy, listening and respect, whether seeking aesthetic enhancement, reconstruction or restoration after significant change.
This has shaped a central conviction in her practice: technical excellence and human understanding must always belong to the same surgical journey.
Finding Beauty Through Harmony Rather Than Perfection
Dr Bolletta’s understanding of aesthetics has always extended beyond medicine. Architecture, art, interiors and nature have influenced the way she observes lines, proportions, volumes and balance.
This perspective shaped her approach to breast aesthetics, moving beyond the idea of a universal model of beauty. Every woman has her own anatomy, proportions, tissues and expectations.
For Dr Bolletta, the surgeon’s role is therefore not to reproduce a predefined aesthetic ideal, but to understand what belongs naturally to each individual.
Beauty, in this vision, is not created through standardization. It emerges through harmony. And harmony requires observation, experience and, increasingly, measurement.
When Surgical Intuition Becomes Measurable Science

One of the defining elements of Dr Bolletta’s career has been her long-standing interest in the relationship between surgical observation and objective measurement.
Her research in aesthetic breast surgery has investigated how the breast changes following surgical procedures and how anthropometric measurements can contribute to a more objective understanding of outcomes.
This work has developed through clinical observation, scientific research and international collaboration between Italy and Canada, including experience alongside internationally recognized breast surgeon Dr Elizabeth Hall-Findlay.
Yet for Dr Bolletta, measurement was never intended to replace the surgeon’s eye. Quite the opposite. It was a way of giving surgical intuition another layer of intelligence.
An experienced surgeon can recognize proportion and harmony. Data can help explain them.
The goal was never to standardize women. It was to understand their differences more precisely.
That distinction lies at the heart of her approach. Precision becomes valuable not when it makes medicine more uniform, but when it allows medicine to become more personal.
As Dr Elisa explains: “True innovation begins with listening: listening to patients, to data, to experience, and also to what medicine has yet to fully understand.”
Beyond Surgery
With time, another question began to influence Dr Bolletta’s work: What if the quality of a surgical result begins before the operation itself?
This question led her to explore more deeply the relationship between plastic surgery, tissue quality and regenerative medicine.
Traditionally, surgery can be perceived as the central event: consultation, operation, recovery. Dr Bolletta sees a broader continuum.
The biological condition of the tissues before surgery matters. So do healing, scar evolution, tissue quality and long-term stability.
This has progressively expanded her approach beyond the surgical act itself toward a structured patient journey, in which tissue preparation and regeneration can complement established surgical techniques.
Regenerative medicine does not replace surgery. It extends the way surgery can be conceived.
For Dr Elisa Bolletta, this represents one of the most interesting frontiers of modern breast aesthetics: combining surgical precision with biological awareness.
From Experience to Method
International experience has played a fundamental role in shaping Dr Elisa Bolletta’s surgical philosophy.
Her professional development has taken her through medical and surgical environments across Europe, Canada and South Korea, exposing her not only to different techniques, but to different philosophies of surgery and patient care.
At Banff Plastic Surgery in Canada, her experience deepened her focus on breast-specific surgery, surgical planning and long-term observation.
Her training and collaborations in Paris strengthened her expertise in aesthetic, reconstructive and oncoplastic breast surgery, alongside further academic training in microsurgery and breast surgery.
South Korea added another perspective through its advanced culture of aesthetic medicine, technology and innovation applied to patient care.
For Dr Elisa Bolletta, travel became part of her medical education. Every healthcare culture asked different questions and offered a different way of looking at the patient.
Over time, these influences converged into a personal surgical philosophy, bringing together observation, measurement, precision, tissue preparation, regeneration and long-term follow-up.
The result is not a collection of techniques, but a way of thinking about surgery: precise, evolving and deeply individual.
Creating Elisà Plastic Surgery Around a Bigger Idea

Eventually, Dr Elisa Bolletta began asking a different question. Instead of thinking only about how surgery could be performed better, she began thinking about how the entire experience of care could be improved.
That question became the foundation of Elisà Plastic Surgery, created by Dr Bolletta together with Liberato Aliberti, Co-Founder and CEO, whose strategic and entrepreneurial vision has been instrumental in developing the project and shaping its international direction.
Dr Bolletta leads the medical and scientific vision, while Aliberti drives the strategic development, technology and international expansion of Elisà Plastic Surgery.
Their roles are distinct but deeply complementary, bringing together clinical expertise, scientific research, innovation and an ambitious vision for the future of personalized medicine.
The project has its roots in Italy, in the extraordinary setting of the Dolomites, an environment closely associated with nature, balance and beauty.
Yet its vision extends well beyond its Italian origins, with an increasingly international outlook and ambitions.
For Dr Bolletta and Aliberti, the objective is not simply to build another plastic surgery brand, but to develop a medical model in which scientific research, technology, regenerative medicine and personal attention can exist within the same patient journey.
This is where the concept of the Elisà Method® begins to take shape: not as a single surgical technique, but as a philosophy connecting science, method, nature, longevity and technology around the individual patient.
Why the Gulf Matters
For Dr Bolletta, the Gulf represents far more than a new geographical market. It is already part of her international professional reality.
With an active medical licence to practise in the region and an established relationship with patients from the Gulf who currently travel to Italy to receive her care, her connection with the region is both professional and personal.
Many of these patients would also welcome the opportunity to access her expertise closer to home, within the Gulf itself.
The region is also an environment where many of the ideas shaping the future of medicine are developing at remarkable speed. Advanced healthcare infrastructure, technological ambition, international expertise and an increasingly sophisticated approach to patient care are creating opportunities for new models of medical practice.
This is precisely where Dr Bolletta sees a natural dialogue between Italian medical culture and the vision of the Gulf.
Italy brings a long tradition of medicine, scientific research, craftsmanship, proportion and aesthetic sensitivity. The Gulf brings extraordinary momentum in technology, healthcare investment, international collaboration and the development of new models of patient care.
The opportunity, in Dr Bolletta’s view, lies not in choosing between these worlds, but in bringing their strengths together.
Her international vision is therefore based on collaboration: connecting Italian surgical expertise and aesthetic culture with healthcare ecosystems capable of embracing precision, technology, regenerative medicine and personalization.
For Dr Bolletta, the Gulf represents a natural extension of her international medical journey, a place where established experience, new relationships and a shared vision for the future of healthcare can come together.
The Future of Breast Aesthetics
Dr Elisa Bolletta does not define her career through one operation, one publication or one professional title. For her, the greater achievement has been transforming years of surgical observation, scientific research and international experience into a methodology that continues to evolve.
And that evolution is far from complete.
Her current work extends beyond surgical practice, exploring how research, technology and clinical knowledge can come together to support increasingly advanced approaches to healthcare.
Some of these developments are still taking shape, but they reflect a broader ambition: to translate experience and research into innovation that may contribute to the healthcare systems of the future.
The direction is clear. Dr Elisa Bolletta believes that plastic surgery can become more precise without becoming less human, more technological without becoming standardized, and more innovative without losing sight of the individual.
For her, medicine continues to begin with curiosity.
Perhaps that is what defines her journey most clearly. Every achievement opens another question, another area to explore and another reason to keep evolving.
And that may be where the next chapter begins.
